Don’t miss out on the great opportunity to train on the actual course of the most challenging and iconic triathlons in the world.

The 3rd Annual Fortius Coaching Wildflower Training Camp will take place Thursday, March 22, 2012 through Sunday, March 25, 2011 in Lake San Antonio and will be an USAT-sanctioned event.

Don’t miss out on the great opportunity to train on the actual course of the most challenging and iconic triathlons.  Fortius Coaching will prepare participants to feel stronger and more confident to race after swimming in the refreshing and calm waters of Lake San Antonio, experiencing Nasty Grade and Lynch Hill on the bike and running every mile of the either or both the Long Course and Olympic courses!  Training on the Wildflower Triathlon course will make the actual race and other equally challenging races seem less daunting.

Participants will enjoy the sights and sounds of Lake San Antonio while training for the race and take a moment to relax and appreciate their hard work.  L. A. Body Mechanics’ Massage Therapist and Fortius athlete, David Wachtel will be on hand to provide ½ hour and full hour massages at a discounted rate.

The Fortius Coaching Wildflower Training Camp is perfect for athletes racing at Wildflower and those finishing up their long distance training for Ironman St. George and other races.  With over 7000 athletes competing in the Wildflower Triathlon Festival in May, you will arrive to the race with a physical and mental advantage to those who have yet to experience the challenging course.

The Fortius Coaching Wildflower Training Camp will include most meals, including health-conscious dinner, shared-accommodations in the cabins* and expert coaching advice in the swim, bike, and run, daily yoga and/or stretching, a transition clinic, and discussions about proper nutrition and hydration, and race strategies.

Space is limited so act quickly.  You don’t have to be registered for an event at the Wildflower Festival to attend and get the benefit from the camp.  Although beginners are welcome, the bike courses and the run courses are considered moderate to difficult.  Athletes are not required to participate in all the activities. Pick and choose according to your current training plan.

Past participants enjoyed the Training Camp beyond the training as it provided the catalyst bonding with fellow triathletes and team members.

Head Coach of Fortius Coaching, Gerardo Barrios has assembled a group of experienced, knowledgeable coaches to get you through the experience of Wildflower Triathlon training weekend.
